NECHRI CELEBRATES 17 YEARS OF DEDICATED CANCER CARE

The North East Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (NECHRI) marked its 17th Foundation Day with great pride and gratitude, celebrating a journey that began in 2008 as the first private cancer hospital in the Northeast region. Over the years, NECHRI has been at the forefront of providing specialized cancer care while nurturing hope and healing for thousands of patients across Assam and the entire Northeast.
The auspicious occasion was graced by distinguished guests, including:
Dr. B.P. Deka (Chief Medical Director, Railway Board)
Mr. MuninSaikia (Secretary of Employee Association, Railway Board)
Mr. RupamBhuyan (Renowned Singer)
Mr. Brajen Borah (Eminent Assamese Actor), and
Mr. Ghanashyam Talukdar, alongside our Chairman, Managing Director, Directors, doctors, nurses, technical staff, and non-technical staff. Their presence added warmth and significance to the celebration.

NECHRI has also partnered with leading research and academic institutions including ICMR, Tezpur University, IIT Guwahati, and Down Town University. These collaborations strengthen cancer research in areas such as biomarker discovery, oral cancer studies, and breast cancer projects, ensuring that the people of Northeast India benefit from the latest advancements in medical science.
